Kayleigh Pincott is an Australian vocalist, composer and teacher with a Masters of Music Studies (vocal pedagogy) and a Bachelor of Music (jazz voice) from the Queensland Conservatorium. In 2016, Kayleigh was awarded the coveted ‘Generations in Jazz’ Vocal Scholarship from a field of six finalists Australia-wide, naming her the best young jazz vocalist in the country.
Kayleigh Pincott is quickly establishing herself as an important voice in the Australian jazz scene. Released in May 2017, Kayleigh's debut album, Solace, features original compositions and arrangements in a contemporary jazz style, exploring Kayleigh’s individual musical voice and culminating in an album of mature jazz compositions.
Kayleigh's latest project, Downend, (a collaboration with guitarist Conor McDonald) has just released their debut album, Find A Home, through local Brisbane music label, Made Now Music. Listen/buy it here
